(Part 1 of 2 in the Living Your Dream series)

Every person has dreams that live deep in their soul, ones they long to realize. They might imagine writing a book, learning to paint, starting a business, or maybe traveling somewhere that has called to them for years. These dreams live inside of us like quiet lanterns, casting a soft glow of possibility.
And yet, for many people, dreams remain just that—dreams.
Why is this?
Often, it’s because we just don’t take time to focus on them. We treat our dreams as luxuries instead of necessities. We put them off, telling ourselves “someday.” We think life will present the perfect conditions for us to pursue our dream one day.
But did you know that dreams are soul-messages, invitations from your deeper divine self? And they don’t go away when ignored. They linger, shining that soft glow of light, waiting for us to respond.
Why Your Dream Matters
Take a moment to pause and turn inward to listen. What is it that you long for? What dream is calling to you from deep within right now?
Once you identify this, ask:
Why do I have this dream?
How would I feel if I lived it fully?
Who else might be touched or uplifted if I do this?
Why is it important for me now, in this time of my life?
This type of reflection can be quite powerful. When we take time to reflect, we realize our dreams aren’t just for ourselves. They ripple outward into our families, communities, and the world. Your dream matters because you matter. What you manifest in the world becomes a gift to others too. Your dream is part of something bigger.

Commitment: The Turning Point
There comes a moment when dreaming is no longer enough. The longing for the dream asks for commitment.
This doesn’t mean you must have the whole path figured out. It means choosing to take your dream seriously. It’s like planting a seed. Until it’s in the ground, watered, and given sunlight, it will never grow. Commitment means saying: This dream matters enough that I will honor it. I will take it seriously. I will pay attention to it.
That shift from “someday” to “now” is the turning point to commitment. It’s the first step on the path to realizing your dream. You’ve started your journey!

If you’re ready to commit to your dreams and want support, we’d love to have you join us this September at the Live Your Dreams retreat.
